COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before your first scan.

What does the GluteMaxxing score measure?

It is a repeatable 0–100 progress score derived from a guided back-and-side photo check-in. Premium adds shape, symmetry, and strength details. It is a fitness-tracking measurement, not a medical assessment.

How often should I rescan?

Every 14 days. The app shows your next scan date and can remind you when it is time.

What should I wear for a scan?

Wear opaque, fitted athletic clothing such as leggings, yoga pants, bike shorts, or fitted gym wear. Swimwear, underwear, nudity, see-through clothing, and sexual poses are not permitted.

Do I need a gym?

No. Choose where you train and what equipment you have; your starter plan adapts to that setup, your experience, and the time you have available.

Is GluteMaxxing free?

Your first score and personalized 7-day starter program are free. Premium unlocks detailed scoring, rescans and progress history, and the complete 28-day program.

Does GluteMaxxing work with Apple Watch and Apple Health?

The Apple Watch app can show your score, next scan, and today’s workout. Completed workouts can be saved to Apple Health after you grant permission.

What happens to my photos?

Your guided photos are sent over an encrypted connection to processing services to generate your score. The current app does not save raw scan photos to your account; it saves your scores and scan history. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is this medical advice?

No. GluteMaxxing is for general fitness tracking and is not medical advice. Individual results vary.
